Srila Roy is Professor of Sociology at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. She is the author of <i>Changing the Subject: Feminist and Queer Politics in Neoliberal India</i> (2022). She leads the Governing Intimacies project that promotes new scholarship on gender and sexuality in southern Africa and India.
