Sinossi
Even before Sylvester, the cat, joins the Montgomery Investigations team, he shows an aptitude for going after the bad guys. First, he runs down a parcel thief, then shows authorities where vandals are hiding. By the time his owner, Estelle Montgomery, simply called El, and her cousin Liz, decide to take him to work, he reckons he's become a proper private investigator and that's before his first big case! The Montgomery ladies don't realize he's playing a key role in solving a series of thefts until he leads them to conclude the case isn't what it appears to be.
He understands Human talk; too bad they don't understand Cat talk, including his various meows, howls, shakes of his tail, and other body languages. The girls name him after the well-known black and white cartoon cat on television. But he figures he's more like the smart cat, Walter, who appears in television commercials, only Sylvester thinks he's much better looking than either of them.
There's no chance of keeping him in the office so he's right in the thick of things, though he does hate the way El and Liz drive. He just hangs on tight and hopes his legs aren't permanently stretched longer than they should be. Sylvester never thought that searching for clues in a dog park could incite so much chaos. Or, who would have thought that spotting the bad guys in a fast food drive-thru might result in a near-death situation—for himself? Sylvester dares to walk among dogs to solve the case.
