The story of The Faces typifies the glamorous lifestyle of an English rock'n'roll band that toured relentlessly through America in the 1970s leaving a trail of sell-out concerts, gold albums and wrecked hotel rooms in their wake. Fronted by Rod Stewart, they still exert an influence over today's rock 'n' roll bands, notably Black Crowes, Guns N' Roses and Primal Scream. The group's classic album A Nod Is As Good As A Wink finished at number 44 in Classic Rock's 2006 Survey of the 100 Greatest British Rock Albums Of All Time.
