A long time ago there lived in a little house on the edge of a wood, a Hare, a Squirrel, and a Little Grey Rabbit.
Little Grey Rabbit is a country Rabbit and, together with her woodland friends, she celebrates each year's changing seasons. From spring and summer to autumn and winter, there is always a new adventure for Hare, Squirrel and Little Grey Rabbit.
Alison Uttley's Little Grey Rabbit Stories have captured the imaginations of generations of children since their first publication in 1929. In Little Grey Rabbit's Year of Stories, six seasonal tales are brought together in one beautiful book. The stories are published with a foreword by Alison Uttley's biographer, Professor Denis Judd.
