Dr Dirk Willem te Velde is a Research Fellow at the Overseas Development Institute. He leads the Investment and Growth programme, has published widely on these subjects and advises developing country governments and development agencies.|Massimiliano Calì is a Research Fellow at the Overseas Development Institute.|Janet Strachan advises on sustainable development at the Commonwealth Secretariat. She co-ordinated the Commonwealth Secretariats strategies for the World Summit on Sustainable Development, the 2005 Small Island Developing States Summit in Mauritius, and the development of its work on climate change.
