Again, Roy McLarty has come up with a winner that's hard to put down. This time his protagonist is caught between a ruthless, but brilliant psychopath, and a group of upper crust plotters who may, or may not, know what they're doing. The characters have flesh and blood, the settings are fascinating and the plot is utterly convincing. As is his wont, Professor McLarty doesn't give us a dull moment, there's a lot to learn too, and the action continues to the last page.
