Phoebe Phillips was a pioneering West End gallery owner showing young British artists long before it was a sensible thing to do. Her subsequent professional life includes being an editor, writer and a creator of illustrated books specialising in history, the arts and collecting.

Tom Robb was Head of the Foundation Course and Assistant Dean at Hornsey College of Art, then Head of School of Fine Art Studies and Professor of Fine Art at Middlesex University before he retired.
