Eira was born and brought up on the Isle of Wight. She left the Island to attend Portsmouth College of Art where she studied Fine Art and Sculpture. Later on she worked in her own design business dealing with graphic design and interiors, She was awarded the Sussex designer of the Year. In 1981 Eira became a Christian. Almost immediately began voluntary work for the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem. Work included designing logos, artwork and stage design for The Feast of Tabernacles. She has had many art exhibitions with her biblical paintings that were inspired in Israel. Eira had always wanted to write and illustrate children's books and since the 80's her books have been accepted by various publishers with many titles co-edited into different countries. To date her books have been published in many languages and some of her published titles are: *Would you like to know Jesus *Who is Jesus? *The Little Ones Bible
