Written by military women for women serving or connected with the military, Coffee with God is a unique collection of 165 reflections on the Psalms, which is enough for six a week, for a six month duration (the typical length of a deployment). Drawing on the range of themes expressed by the psalmists, the 28 authors show us what grace under pressure looks like as they write frankly about their own experience of service life. Each day’s entry contains a key verse from the Psalms, an additional passage, a personal reflection and a prayer or `point to ponder’ to close -- ultimately designed to draw readers closer to God and propel them further along in their journey of faith.
