Ian is a regular contributor to the computer press and writes a data centre management column for Computing. He is also a director of Computer Capacity Management Services (CCMS) and Sierra Systems Ltd. During the past 10 years, he has served as a consultant to some of the largest UK software and services organisations.
Ian is also editor of Systems Professional and consultant editor of IBM Systems User. He has worked for many years in publishing as founding editor of IBM Systems User and DEC User magazines, and as a director of InfoTech International.
Additionally, Ian is the prime consultant to the UKCMG, the largest and fastest growing supplier-independent user group of its type in Europe.
