John Masterson is a weekly columnist with the Sunday Independent. He lectured in Psychology in UCG and then at TCD until 1984 when he joined RTE as a producer/director working on programmes such as Today Tonight, Bon Voyage and The Late Late Show. He is also a partner in the Harmony Psychotherapy Centre which provides a counselling and psychotherapy service in Blackrock, Co Dublin. He lives in Dublin and Thomastown, Co Kilkenny.
