Riassunto

Murray Ball is New Zealand's greatest cartoonist. Best known, of course, for the Footrot Flats series, which was a worldwide phenomenon for over 20 years from the mid-1970s, Murray also enjoyed huge success with many other cartoon strips. Stanley, for instance, was the longest running cartoon strip in the history of the influential English political magazine, Punch. Additionally, it was syndicated throughout New Zealand, Australia, USA and Canada as a six-day feature. As well as Stanley, Murray also produced Bruce the Barbarian for the in the United Kingdom, The Kids (NZ) Quentin Hankey (NZ), Nature Calls (Australia) and many more. Such was Murray's talent that he was retained by a number of British publishers to illustrate some of the world's most famous comic magazines. Now, to complete the remarkable Murray Ball celebratory trilogy comes a final volume to accompany the stunningly successful Footrot Flats - The Dog Strips and Footrot Flats - The Long Weekender. In this equally lavish book will be featured the best of the rest of Murray's work. If you loved Footrot and you love Murray Ball, you must own this book.
