Daniel Wright's enthusiasm for his subject is beautifully captured in a sequence of clear, easy-to-follow step-by-step photographs and unusual projects. Taking his inspiration from pen and ink, engraving and watercolour techniques, he demonstrates many exciting methods and traditional ways of working, creating landscapes, trees, flowers, animals and buildings. He goes on to illustrate shading and faux marquetry, and there's a section on using photographs and sketches to produce unique designs. Informazioni sull'autore
Daniel Wright has had a passion for pyrography since he bought his first machine at the age of eleven. Since then, he has developed his own technique and style. He is a qualified teacher with a degree in Visual Arts, and teaches and runs workshops in primary schools. In his spare time, he plays flugelhorn in a championship standard brass band and is a keen football supporter.
