How can we develop leadership from across the whole range social and ethnic groups in our society? So that we bring our diversity together in our united worship of the our one Saviour and King.

John Root is Associate vicar of St Ann's, Tottenham. He has had almost fi fty years of experience ministering in multiethnic London, and was for three years Vice-Principal of Ridley Hall, Cambridge. His wife Sheila is of Malaysian and Hindu background, and they have an adult son. He blogs at 'Out of Many, One People' on issues of multi-ethnic faith and church life. Otherwise he enjoys Liverpool F C, Bob Dylan and London generally.
