Julius Perdana Putranto is a self-taught graphic designer and 3D modeler of architectural animation. He also works as a web developer. Despite a background in architecture, he began his career as a graphic designer for a printing company in Jakarta, Indonesia, 2001. Having co-founded two small graphic design companies he now works as a freelance graphic designer.
In 2007, he started up a website, Julescrafter.com, a military themed papaer model online store, turning his childhood hobby into a money-making scheme. The following year, he created a freebie site, which overlapped the first in popularity. Paper-replika.com is now one of the most popular pepercraft sites around.
