Author of 'My Gang' in 'Signs of our Time', previously medical research on the pituitary hormones ACTH and endorphin in pregnancy and birth, and the pineal hormone melatonin in growth and puberty. Post retirement (from medicine) a theatre producer; now initiator of Doctors Club, a sort of internet co-op, and the BOP Theatre Company, to promote the under acknowledged genius of black theatre.
Author of 'Powhatan's Mantle' in 'Signs of Our Time'. Currently Director of the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, and previously the Holburne Museum in Bath. Yair Meshoulam, author and artist of 'Signs of Our Time', won a scholarship to the Ruskin School of Art at Oxford University and then on to study further at the Royal College of Art. He has exhibited extensively with many galleries including The Ben Uri when it was in Soho, but also for many years in Berlin, at first with the British Council and The Weekend Gallery in Charlottenburg, and currently with ARE (Artistic Research Encounters) and Gallery gh36 in Mitte. He initiated the collaborative project 'Textures of Consciousness' with the writer and publisher Dr Robert Silman, working with creative friends in other fields - photographers, poets, musicians and thinkers.
