Michael Chiles is an experienced senior leader and principal examiner whohas been teaching geography working in the North West. Alongside hisdaily teaching role, Michael supports teachers and leaders nationally andinternationally, as well as writing literature for leading subject publishers.Michael shares his experiences of the classroom and leadership at GeogHodand tweets at @m_chiles. He enjoys walking and exploring the Britishcountryside with his Border Collie, Daisy. His recent books, The CRAFT ofAssessment, The Feedback Pendulum and The Sweet Spot, were publishedby John Catt.

David Goodwin is an assistant principal, a geography teacher in theLincolnshire region, and a writer and illustrator of education ideas. He is alsoa specialist leader of education (SLE) and evidence lead education (ELE). Hisdebut book, co-authored with Oliver Caviglioli, was ‘Organise Ideas, Thinkingby Hand and Extending the Mind’. Through their work together, David andOliver have set up the brand Organise Ideas and plan to continue to worktogether on future projects.
