Featuring selections from the second Images From Science exhibition at the Rochester Institute of Technology this collection features stunning scientific and technical photographs as interesting for their artistic merits as for their original, more practical, purposes. Images come from a wide range of fields including oceanography, astronomy, biology, geology and medicine. Some highlights include close-ups of opthomolic anomalies; a honey bee with a microchip affixed to it's back; pictomicrographs of snow crystals, chicken embryos and the lips of a water flea; an x-ray of a flying lizard; and a florescence photograph of a genetically modified mouse and it's green, glowing offspring.
