About the Authors: Debbie Bates creates, teaches and designs using fabrics, fibers and mixed media. She is a regular contributor to various magazines, an educator for sewing machine companies and a frequent teacher at local and National Conferences in the U.S. and Canada. Liz Kettle is a fabric and mixed media artist with a passion for teaching others the joy of making art and enjoying the creative process. When she isn't creating visual art, Liz writes about creativity and the creative process. Liz is a co-author of the book Fabric Embellishing The basics & beyond.
