Through his grant writing and fundraising efforts, he continues to help secure needed resources and services for underprivileged children and adults. He resides in Long Beach, California with his wife and two daughters. Michael recalls the 1970s as a decade of extraordinary discoveries, awesome music, nonstop athletics, and endless infatuations. Training Wheels is his first novel.
