Gail Lambert grew up in a family with many talented women who quilted, knitted, and hooked rugs. She has been hooking steadily for many years now and has a passion for hooking Celtic designs. Her favorite designer is David Rankine, who provided the designs for this book. Gail teaches Celtic hooking throughout Canada and the U.S. She works from her studio, Hook Me Up Rug Supplies in Lake Charlotte, Nova Scotia.
