This book is the third book of a trilogy that spans the life of three generations of strong women: Calliope, the author’s grandmother; Thiana, the author’s mother; and the author herself, Silver.

America-The Final Destination, the third book of the trilogy follows Silver as she arrives in a new country— America—and starts a new life.

America-The Final Destination is a beautiful romance in which Silver falls in love with her new country, Florida and Matthew

Athens, the second book of the trilogy, follows Silver’s adventures after she defected from communist Romania to live in Greece.

Thiana: AVDELA-A Macedonian Village in Northwestern Greece depicts Calliope and Thiana’s lives. The action takes place in a small village in northwestern Greece—AVDELA, moves to Thesalonika, and later to Bucharest Romania, where Thiana married and established. The book encompasses the 1920s to the 1970s, including events associated with World War 2 and the rise of the Iron Curtain that separated eastern Europe for the rest of the world.
