VERBING is split into 3 parts: "Ignorance", "Frustration", and "Revelations". The style is essentially 3 short essays on the subject of my growth— spiritually, intellectually, and in the public eye. This is an exploratory experiment with writing in order to get my feet wet with the process of publishing, and to establish the subject(s) I would like to write on in the future.

Jacob Roloff, age twenty, grew up in Helvetia, Oregon. For approximately eleven years while he was growing up, from ages six to eighteen years old, his family was the focus of a popular reality TV show. He later decided not to continue with the production, subsequently moving in with his then-girlfriend Isabel Rock. He attended a private Christian school as well, from pre-school to 8th grade, and has since shed the rigidity he felt from that influence, choosing to write curiously of how ancient Eastern philosophies are affecting him. He has always enjoyed writing, and, due to the roaming lifestyle that he lives with Isabel and their two dogs, began to take it more seriously than before— as a passion to be practiced and not as a half-hearted hobby. This will be his first published book (or booklet), having an initial 155 copies sold on Etsy, as well as +250 on Kindle. It will now remain on Amazon as he works on his second, much longer book, Out To See, expected early 2018.
