Chasing the Wanderer follows twenty-two-year-old Teddy Thickett, a socially awkward bartender who has long given up hope of finding love in today’s hookup-based society, who has a fear of saying those three little words—“I love you”—to any girl he has ever dated. Teddy’s world is thrown upside down when he falls for twenty-one-year-old Sydney Auclair, a witty socialite from Los Angeles, who moves to Teddy’s small lake town for the summer to work. They have a whirlwind summer fling, but it ends abruptly when Sydney moves back to Southern California and gets engaged to another man, spiraling Teddy into a deep depression. That is until he meets twenty-two-year-old Madison de la Huerta, a spunky yoga instructor moonlighting as an exotic dancer who is desperately trying to get out of town.

T.R. Gough is a Canadian-American author originally from Toronto. He attended McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and earned a BFA degree in Political Science. He also has a MFA in Screenwriting from Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California. Chasing the Wanderer is his first novel. His screenplay Windsor Drive was produced and released in 2015, a film in which he starred in. He now splits his time between Los Angeles and Toronto.
