Dorothy is a Grand Rapids Dominican sister, and one of seven children from Saginaw, Michigan. She currently serves as a Catholic Chaplain for Holy Cross Services in Lansing, Michigan. Previously, she has been a Director of Retreats and Co-Director of The Joshua Foundation. She also served in campus ministry roles at Western Michigan University, the University of Michigan and Michigan State University. She has been Director of the Campus Ministry School in Boston and has taught at the Chautauqua Institution in New York. A Michigan native, Christopher W. Tremblay is an only child with a creative mind (such a creative mind that his license plate is “CRE8OR”). He has served in a variety of higher education administrative roles over the years at Western Michigan University, Gannon University, the University of Michigan-Dearborn, the University of Wisconsin-Superior, and Michigan State University. He is the creator of Getting In, a card game to help students understand the college admissions process. He is the author of Walt’s Pilgrimage: A Journey in the Life of Walter Elias Disney and Walt’s Pilgrimage, Jr., the children’s version. Both are currently principals of Catholic Schools in the Edmonton Catholic School District. Their passion for children’s literature and students learning to read has been a central focus of their lives as teachers. Joanne has a particular love for special education and the needs of all struggling learners. Dan’s passion is technology integration and became an Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE) in 2013. They are Oblate of Mary Immaculate Associates and serve St. Albert Parish in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada.
