Informazioni sugli autori
Rascal est né en Belgique en 1959. Il passe son enfance à Namur. Il a toujours détesté l'école, préférant les sentiers buissonniers. Ainsi, il est autodidacte ! Après avoir travaillé dans la publicité, réalisé des affiches pour le théâtre, et fait plusieurs métiers, il décide de se consacrer aux livres pour enfants. Il est à la fois auteur et illustrateur mais écrit le plus souvent des histoires pour d'autres artistes. Il a également publié des livres sous le nom de Pascal Nottet et Marie Ghislain. Il a reçu le Grand prix triennal de Littérature de jeunesse de la Communauté française 2009-2012. "Rascal suscite toujours la rêverie ou l'interrogation. Cet auteur exclusif d'albums esquisse en peu de mots, le rapport de soi au monde, de soi à soi." Bulletin de l'Office du livre en Poitou-Charentes, mars 2000.
Peter Elliott est un auteur-illustrateur belge qui dit oui. À 16 ans, il a dit oui à son père qui lui a proposé d'intégrer l'école de dessin Saint-Luc à Bruxelles. Il a dit oui quand, à sa sortie de l'atelier d'illustration, on l'a convié à se présenter chez Pastel. Il a dit oui à Rascal qui lui demandait s'il souhaitait illustrer Poussin Noir. Un soir, il a dit oui à deux frères qui l'ont invité à partager la scène pour donner un concert rock... 30 ans de plaisir plus tard, Peter Elliott a enregistré plusieurs albums, a illustré des milliers de pages pour la presse jeunesse et a réalisé de nombreux livres pour les enfants.
