Sinossi
Jérôme Alleyrat avait seize ans quand son père prit l'habitude de coucher avec lui, et lui avec son père. La mère a décidé de s'enfuir. Quand il arrive à Paris, un matin de septembre ? 1991, il a vingt ans. A cette date, l'épidémie de sida bat son plein. Peu concerné par cet événement, tout entier concentré sur la quête d'un plaisir qui frôle l'anéantissement de soi, Jérôme est arrêté au beau milieu de son accomplissement par l'irruption sous son toit de la maladie, en l'espèce ? : son voisin de palier qu'il recueillera, soignera, accompagnera jusqu'à la fin. De cet épisode fondateur découlera l'orientation de sa vie tout entière. Sa trajectoire remet au centre de notre attention ce qui désormais a disparu derrière le rideau de fumée de la réification triomphante ? : le goût du sexe, l'élan vers l'autre, la tentation du bien...
