David Dabner Apprenticed as a compositor before moving into design and working in print and advertising. He set up his own design practice and entereed into teaching. He is highly experienced in running undergraduate typographic programs at the London College of Communications where he is currently course director for the Foundation Degree in Graphic Communication. He is a fellow of the International Society of Typographic Designers.

David Dabner has taught print-based design courses at the renowned London College of Communication (formerly London College of Printing) for many years, and is course director or the Higher National Diploma in Typographic Design.
