Sinossi

This book provides an interdisciplinary volume of advances in disaster science that further understanding global progress to reduce disaster risk. The book is thematically grouped around the Sendai Framework’s four priorities, spanning efforts to assess hazards and risk, disaster governance, mechanisms to build resilience, and recovery in the aftermath of crises.
