Informazioni sugli autori
Eigentlich bin ich Englischlehrer, aber die Frage, wie man das Lehren und Lernen von fremden Sprachen einfacher macht für die Lehrenden und die Lernenden, betrifft alle Sprachen, natürlich auch Deutsch als Fremdsprache. So bin ich, neben meiner Arbeit in der Lehrerausbildung an der Universität Kassel, mit dem Verlag seit fast 30 Jahren und über mehrere Lehrwerke für Jugendliche verbunden und hoffe, dass mit der Hilfe unserer Materialien die Sprache Deutsch ein wenig „leichter“ geworden ist. Michael Koenig ist 2025 verstorben. Wir trauern um unseren kreativen, charismatischen und beliebten Autor, Didaktiker, Fortbildner und Freund.
Ich heiße Theo Scherling. Nach dem Studium an der Münchener Kunstakademie arbeitete ich in den Folgejahren als Kunstpädagoge und Maler. Viele Jahre arbeitete ich für den Langenscheidt Verlag, derzeit bin ich als Autor für Ernst Klett Sprachen und andere internationale Verlage tätig. Lehraufträge, Seminare und Workshops zum Thema „Die Sprache der Bilder“ führten mich fast rund um den Globus. Auch wenn ich seit Jahren vor allem als Textautor arbeite, sind mir die visuellen Elemente in Lehrwerken immer noch wichtig: „Zu jedem Bild gehören zwei: Eine/r, der es macht, und eine/r, der es braucht.“
