Das „Buch der Kinderlieder“ enthält – ebenso wie das erfolgreiche „Buch der Weihnachtslieder“ – alte und neue Lieder. Ingeborg Weber-Kellermann, geboren 1918 in Berlin, gestorben 1993 in Marburg. Studium von Volkskunde, Geschichte, Vorgeschichte, Germanistik und Anthropologie. 1940 Promotion in Volkskunde bei Adolf Spamer, 1946 - 1960 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an dessen Volkskunde-Institut an der Deutschen Akademie der Wissenschaften, Berlin. 1960 Übersiedlung nach Marburg, 1963 Habilitation in Volkskunde und Ethnosoziologie. Ab 1968 Professorin für Europäische Ethnologie an der Philipps-Universität Marburg. Zahlreiche Veröffentlichungen.
