In this work, a simulation model for Low Pressure Gas Dynamic Spray (LPGDS) process was developed. The development of ANSYS based 2-D FEM model problem was considered as 2D Planer. The ANSYS model was developed using FLUENT module of the ANSYS 12.0 software. After the geometrical model had been developed in this software, the analysis was also done using this software to calculate the velocity, temperature and pressure contours inside the nozzle. The graphs and contours for the velocity, temperature and pressure had been drawn using the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) post to compare the different nozzle geometries to find an optimal design.
