Olga Grjasnowa, geboren 1984 in Baku, Aserbaidschan. Längere Auslandsaufenthalte in Polen, Russland, Israel und der Türkei. Für ihren vielbeachteten Debütroman "Der Russe ist einer, der Birken liebt" wurde sie mit dem Klaus-Michael Kühne-Preis und dem Anna Seghers-Preis ausgezeichnet. Zuletzt erschien von ihr "Gott ist nicht schüchtern". Der Roman wurde zum Bestseller und hat sich 50 000 mal verkauft. Olga Grjasnowa lebt mit ihrer Familie in Berlin.
