Informazioni sull?autore
Asfa-Wossen Asserate, der Großneffe des letzten äthiopischen Kaisers, wurde 1948 in Addis Abeba geboren. Nach der äthiopischen Revolution von 1974 ließ er sich in Deutschland nieder. In Tübingen und Cambridge hat er Jura und Geschichte studiert und in Frankfurt a. M. promoviert. Er war als Journalist und als Pressechef der Düsseldorfer Messegesellschaft tätig und arbeitet heute als Unternehmensberater in Frankfurt. Für ›Manieren‹ erhielt er den Adelbert-von-Chamisso-Preis 2004.
