Bis zu meinem ersten Schuljahr bin ich mit Dialekt (Luzerndeutsch) aufgewachsen. In der Primarschule wurde ich mit Standarddeutsch/Hochdeutsch konfrontiert - meine erste fremde Sprache: eine Neuentdeckung – Neuland gewissermaßen. Fremde Sprachen beschäftigen mich seit meiner Kindheit. Ich lerne immer noch gern fremde Sprachen, weil ich damit immer wieder neue Menschen kennenlerne - hinter der Sprache entdecke ich andere Sichtweisen und andere Welten. Die ersten Momente in einer fremden Sprache sind für mich als Lernender und als Lehrender am spannendsten - wie schaff` ich es, einen Zugang zum Neuen zu schaffen, eine Basis zur ersten Verständigung herzustellen?
Ich lebe in der französischsprachigen Schweiz und beschäftige mich mit dem Sprachenlernen von Migrantinnen und Migranten in der mehrsprachigen Schweiz.
