Informazioni sull?autore
Doris Rübel studierte Kunsterziehung und war anschließend als Lehrerin an Gymnasien in Hamburg tätig. In über zwanzig Jahren als freie Illustratorin hat sie Kinderbücher, Bilderbücher und Sachbücher und Spiele gestaltet und geschrieben. 1990 erschien das erstes Buch von ihr beim Ravensburger Buchverlag; seit 1998 ist sie eine der Hauptillustratoren und -autoren der Erfolgsreihe "Wieso? Weshalb? Warum?". Ihre Titel "Woher die kleinen Kinder kommen, "Wir entdecken unseren Körper" und "Zu Besuch beim Kinderarzt" gehören zu Topsellern der Reihe.
