Reinhard Raffalt, geboren 1923 in Passau, gestorben 1976 in München. Studium der Musik, Philosophie und Geschichte. 1952 Organist in Rom. 1954 bis 1960 Leitung der Biblioteca Germanica. Er arbeitete für den Bayerischen Rundfunk und wurde durch zahlreiche Bücher über Italien bekannt.
