Mit dem Roman ›Der Rosie-Effekt‹ und jetzt ›Der Mann, der zu träumen wagte‹ setzt der Australier Graeme Simsion seine Erfolgsgeschichte fort. Simsion war erfolgreicher IT-Berater, bis er mit dem Schreiben anfing. Er ist verheiratet, hat zwei Kinder und lebt mit seiner Familie in Melbourne.
Annette Hahn lebt in Berlin und übersetzt aus dem Englischen. Unter anderem übertrug sie Romane von Graeme Simsion, Anne Fortier und Kate Saunders ins Deutsche.
