This book deals with the performance measurement of TCP variants in wired network and the improvement of its performance over wireless environment. TCP includes eleven variants as source and five as destination. Recently published works considered a few network parameters like Congestion Window, Throughput, and Delay for five variants only whereas this book covers all the supported variants to observe their nature regarding to five new perspectives in details. Along with this, an effective approach has been proposed to overcome the situation where TCP packets become corrupted over wireless unfair noisy channel. This book will be actively helpful especially to the researchers of the discipline of Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering and ICT intended to analyze the performance of TCP over wired and wireless network.
