He was rector of the university, served on various supervisory boards and was the author of 50 textbooks, 22 of which were published by Springer Vieweg.</div><div>Dr.-Ing. Gert Schönfelder received his doctorate in digital measurement technology. He worked in the field of computer architecture, image-based measurement technology (stereo) and system design of cameras and measurement technology. Since 8 years he is head of development at a manufacturer of pressure sensors.</div>
