In this context many novel drugs always try to capture existing market which offers some additional benefits in terms of safety, reducing the side effects etc., quetiapine fumarate is one such novel second generation/a typical anti psychotic drug often clinically recommended in conditions of schizophrenia, depression, mania. The present research work was planned for developing quetiapine matrices using natural gums.
