This book is a first attempt to present various concepts and designs of multi rotor wind turbines on one platform. We have classified multi rotor wind turbines as Co-planer Multi Rotor Wind Turbine, Counter rotating horizontal axis Wind Turbine, Unidirectional Co-axial Series Rotor Wind Turbine and Vertical Axis Multi rotor Wind Turbines. They passed through different developing stages start from concept to the present status which is one of the major parts of this book. The purpose of the book is to present briefly about various models under these classifications rather than in-depth analysis of them. The concepts, proposed models and developed multi rotor wind turbines are presented with the help of more than fifty figures. This first small book dedicated to multi rotor wind turbines will be useful for researchers and students to get cumulative brief information about the development and primary evaluation of multi rotor wind turbines at one place.
