Havlin discusses various aspects of the fractal concept in biology and medicine, chemistry, polymer and geophysics. A special chapter presents 14 programs of fractal models, included on a Macintosh diskette (system requirements: system 6 or 7, b/w monitor, 1 program needs a 256 color display). There is also a MS-DOS edition available.
