Les auteurs et collectionneurs : Le producteur et compositeur italien Giorgio Moroder a contribué à la naissance de la musique électronique. Il a entre autres travaillé avec Donna Summer, David Bowie et Janet Jackson. C'est lui qui a fondé Musicland Studios à Munich, où des artistes comme Led Zeppelin et Queen ont enregistré des sessions mémorables. Alessandro Benedetti possède une collection de 8 000 disques en couleur et hors du commun qui est entrée en 1998 dans le Livre Guinness des records. Peter Bastine a travaillé comme DJ, disquaire et organisateur de concerts. Sa collection rassemble aujourd'hui environ 8 000 disques illustrés et a déjà fait l'objet de plusieurs expositions en Europe.
