Der Bestseller UNIX in a Nutshell ist eine vollständige Referenz aller UNIX-Kommandos und -Optionen, die jeweils ausführlich beschrieben und durch viele Beispiele in ihrer Anwendung illustriert werden. L'autore
Arnold Robbins kommt ursprünglich aus Atlanta und arbeitet als Programmierer und technischer Autor. Er ist glücklicher Ehemann und Vater von 4 Kindern, außerdem Hobby-Talmudist. Seit 1997 lebt er mit seiner Familie in Jerusalem. Als Mitglied des POSIX 1003.2-Gremiums hat er den POSIX-Standard für awk mitgestaltet. Momentan ist er der Maintainer von gawk und der Dokumentation dazu.
