"Confluence" (Zusammenfluss) ist die zweite Künstlermonografie von Roland Fuhrmann. Sein breit gefächertes OEuvre bewegt sich an den Schnittstellen zwischen Kunst und Architektur sowie zwischen Wissenschaft und Zeitgeschichte und ist mit den kategorialen Festlegungen der Kunst nicht zu fassen. Fuhrmanns anamorphotische Installationen und kinetische Objekte stellen gewohnte Sichtweisen infrage, schaffen Situationen instabiler Wahrnehmung und bringen Räume ins Wanken. Als permanent platzierte Kunstwerke im öffentlichen Raum und in institutionellen Gebäuden sind seine architektur- und ortsbezogenen Arbeiten inzwischen international vertreten. Die vorliegende Monografie verdeutlicht Fuhrmanns konzeptuellen Ansatz, bei dem sein künstlerisches Werk mit dem Raum und seinem Kontext zu einer neuen Einheit zusammenfließt - Confluence.
