While most high-rise buildings continue to be built in China and the USA, Australia and especially Singapore have recently emerged as hotspots for high-rise architecture. Peter Körner studierte Innenarchitektur an der Hochschule RheinMain. Seit 2010 ist er in der Architekturkommunikation sowie als freier Kurator am Deutschen Architekturmuseum (u. a. Internationaler Hochhaus Preis 2010–2024) tätig.

Peter Cachola Schmal ist Architekt, Kurator und Architekturpublizist. Seit 2000 ist er Kurator am Deutschen Architekturmuseum und seit 2006 dessen leitender Direktor. Er war Generalkommissar des Deutschen Pavillons der 15. Internationalen Architekturausstellung La Biennale di Venezia 2016.
