Sinossi

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. In computing, print is a command in the command line interpreters (shells) of DOS, OS/2 and Microsoft Windows. It is used to add a file to the print queue. It is equivalent to the lpr command in the Berkeley printing system and the lp command in the System V printing system. The command was introduced in MS-DOS version 2. Before that there was no built-in support for background printing files. The user would usually use the copy command to copy files to LPT1.
