Sinossi

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. cfdisk is a Linux partition editor, similar to fdisk, but with a different user interface (curses). It is part of the util-linux package of Linux utility programs. Originally written in 1992, the current version is 2.12r. If invoked without arguments, cfdisk attempts to read the current partition table from the disk drive and present its findings. One advantage of cfdisk (over fdisk for example) is that it's possible to enlarge an Extended Partition when there's free space after the partition. This is not directly possible with fdisk and some other partitioning software.
