The effects of rice husk and wheat offal based diet on the haematological and biochemical parameters of West African Dwarf (WAD) sheep in a hot humid environment were evaluated in a six months study in Anambra State Polytechnic Mgbakwu. Twelve (12) ewe lambs aged between 4 - 6 months were completely randomized into three treatments (A, B, and C) with two replicates respectively. Two experimental diets (concentrate) 1 and 2 were fed to treatments A and B respectively while treatment C received no concentrate. Diet 1 contained 34 % rice husk and 0 % wheat offal while diet 2 contained 0 % rice husk and 34 % wheat offal. The animals in the various treatments A, B and C were fed with forage Sword and treatments A and B supplemented with their various experimental diets at the rate of 0.2 kg daily per animal. At the sixth month, the animals' were bled, blood samples were collected and the haematological and biochemical parameters were evaluated. The values obtained were subjected to ANOVA.
